Stones jut reckless in this lonely place
above the trees, nearer to space
Initials veined, but one last time
Thoughts affixed, oh selfish crime!
Desperate eyes scan the sky
to the stars one last goodbye
time is slow from tick to tock
Into the void off Jumper’s Rock
Once upon a sad refrain
she could have fought this nascent pain
Heart hardened by careless dreams
Unknown damage, unheard screams
Desperate eyes scan the sky
to the stars one last goodbye
time slows from tick to tock
Into the void ‘neath Jumper’s Rock
Why desecrate the sacred life
for simple sake of bitter strife
when good is good to turn to bad
gentle times no longer had
Desperate eyes scan the sky
to the stars one last goodbye
time slows from tick to tock
Into the void from Jumper’s Rock
Jumpers Rock
