The Verse Of Coleridge-s -christobel- Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AAAABBCCDDEEFFGGHHIJ

MARK yon runnel how tis flowingA
Like a sylvan spirit dreamingA
Of the Spring blooms near it blowingA
And the sunlight in it gleamingA
Where that shelving rock is spiedB
There with a smooth warbling slideB
It lapses down into a coolC
And brimming not o erflowing poolC
Then between its narrow d banksD
Playing mellow gurgling pranksD
It gushes till a channel d stoneE
Gives it a more strenuous toneE
Or with an under swirling spreadF
Over a wide pebbled bedF
It bubbles with a gentle pleasureG
Ere some new mood change the measureG
Such a runnel typeth wellH
The sweet wild verse of ChristabelH
But whatI
The Wonder World it warbles throughJ
