Love Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEF BGBG HIHI

My soul is raying like a starA
My heart is happier than a birdB
And all because through fortune s jarA
I hear one little wordB
I feel as if all life and mightC
Had started on a loftier courseD
As if all passion and delightC
Were deepened at the sourceD
-
I feel as if the very airE
Was breathed from out the heart of loveF
And in my heart still rapture rareE
Sat brooding like a doveF
-
O beauty Even through a wordB
What powers are thine to raise and blessG
O love A seraph s voice is heardB
In thy confiding YesG
-
Love is God s messenger divineH
And nature tending up to GodI
Shall breathe His clear air pure and fineH
Whatever love hath trodI
