| So gives his mental beams to pierce and run | A |
| Through all its secrets while his days may last | B |
| And thus progressive little faith hath he | C |
| For mysteries till sounding them he hear | D |
| The gathered tones of their stirr d depths agree | C |
| With that religious harmony severe | E |
| Which anthems to his spiritual ear | D |
| The invisible Presence of the Deity | C |
