Tip...Tap...Tip...Tap...
I heard them one by one
As they break the silence down
Oh! Not a soul endured outside
But find his refuge into the inside;
Tip...Tap...Tip...Tap...
I heard nothing but a pound
Like echoing beats of roaring drum
Oh! They seemed to crash around
That neither man would endure the sound;
Tip...Tap...Tip...Tap...
I heard splashes around,
The soil, the sand and pebbles round
Oh! They dance and sway while moving down
As if a race they had for nature's crown;
Tip...Tap...Tip...Tap...
I heard a beat pounding inside
While I peek a sight in the downtown
Oh! A face in frown awhile now a beaming clown
As silhouette approach with a familiar sound;
Tip...Tap...Tip...Tap...
I heard them falling one by one
Now they fall rare and only once
Oh! Roaring thunder in the night I heard around
As vehicles leave behind their deafening sounds;
Tip...Tap...Tip...Tap...
I heard the ceasing fall in mellow pounds
As little crystals creep underneath the ground
Oh! The fresh ambiance of nature I smell all around
While enjoying the warmth of greedy arms around.
