| And every step away turns thicker as I go | B |
| Somehow I learned to move along and so I go | B |
| Memories lingering awhile but i need to go | B |

| Leaves have fallen down to blend with the dust | C |
| While years have gone to dwell in the past | D |
| Seconds are turning into minutes and hours at last | D |
| And iron things around are crusted in rust | C |

| As the wind fly in the air so the memoirs murmur | E |
| A heart bathed in agony is drowning in despair | F |
| For awhile it peeps up a top with someone's shoulder | E |
| Poking behind a blatant duo of flickering ember | E |

| From a time the memories lay dormant within | G |
| Allowing today and never yesterday to live | H |
| And when all is dead in the hollow of the night | I |
| You break the barrier appearing in the dim light | I |

| Every smiles now are thorny roses in the summer | E |
| Each laugh like barren haven in the desert | J |
| And like phantom trapped between the heaven and hell | K |
| To the river of tears my dear I wish you plunge at last | D |
