The night is cold
But alas it is the time that I recall
Those memories unroll
Repainting them into a bitter scroll
And dragging to hell a pitiful soul;
The days were full of hope
Winds burst out loud as they elope
In mind were happy dreams in loop
And knitted hard within like a rope
But nightmare it was I barely cope;
Moments are parading into sight
A world once clever when eyes are bright
Where love is great with sweet delight
I sleep barely tonight
To see wonders under the moonlight;
I see the moon walking up in the sky
With blatant eyes I tossed to pry
Walking heads up I wonder why
But with little feet I ran to try
And got diced with a dung nearby;
The time ticks fast
While the leaves fall fast
Houses' roofs get rust
While tears roll with the dust
And reveal a naked world at last!
