Memories Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBB CCDCC EEEEE FFFFF GGHHG

The night is coldA
But alas it is the time that I recallB
Those memories unrollB
Repainting them into a bitter scrollB
And dragging to hell a pitiful soulB
-
The days were full of hopeC
Winds burst out loud as they elopeC
In mind were happy dreams in loopD
And knitted hard within like a ropeC
But nightmare it was I barely copeC
-
Moments are parading into sightE
A world once clever when eyes are brightE
Where love is great with sweet delightE
I sleep barely tonightE
To see wonders under the moonlightE
-
I see the moon walking up in the skyF
With blatant eyes I tossed to pryF
Walking heads up I wonder whyF
But with little feet I ran to tryF
And got diced with a dung nearbyF
-
The time ticks fastG
While the leaves fall fastG
Houses' roofs get rustH
While tears roll with the dustH
And reveal a naked world at lastG
