The first No euml l the angel did sayA
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they layA
In fields where they lay keeping their sheepB
On a cold winter's night that was so deepB
-
CHORUSC
No euml l No euml l No euml l No euml lD
Born is the King of IsraelE
-
They look egrave d up and saw a starF
Shining in the east beyond them farF
And to the earth it gave great lightG
And so it continued both day and nightG
-
And by the light of that same starF
Three wise men came from country farF
To seek for a king was their intentH
And to follow the star wherever it wentH
-
This star drew nigh to the north westI
O'er Bethlehem it took its restI
And there it did both stop and stayA
Right over the place where Jesus layA
-
Then entered in those wise men threeJ
Full reverently upon their kneeJ
And offered there in his presenceK
Their gold and myrrh and frankincenseL
-
Then let us all with one accordM
Sing praises to our heav'nly LordM
That hath made heav'n and earth of naughtN
And with his blood mankind hath boughtO
