The Third Epigram Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCDDEEDD

On an ATHEISTA
Posthumus boasts he does not Thunder fearB
And for this cause would Innocent appearB
That in his Soul no Terrour he does feelC
At threatn'd Vultures or Ixion's WheelC
Which fright the Guilty But when Fabius toldD
What Acts 'gainst Murder lately were enrol'dD
'Gainst Incest Rapine straight upon the TaleE
His Colour chang'd and Posthumus grew paleE
His Impious Courage had no other RootD
But that the Villaine Atheist was to bootD
