On My Aunt Mrs. A. K. Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBCCDEFFGHGAAII JJKK

Drown'd under London bridge in the Queens Bardge AnnoA
-
-
The Darling of a Father Good and WiseB
The Vertue which a Vertuous Age did prizeB
The Beauty Excellent even to those were FaireC
Subscrib'd unto by such as might compareC
The Star that 'bove her Orb did always moveD
And yet the Noblest did not Hate but LoveE
And those who most upon their Title stoodF
Vail'd also to because she did more GoodF
To whom the Wrong'd and Worthy did resortG
And held their Sutes obtain'd if only broughtH
The highest Saint in all the Heav'n of CourtG
So Noble was her Aire so Great her MeenA
She seem'd a Friend not Servant to the QueenA
To Sin if known she never did give wayI
Vice could not Storm her could it not betrayI
-
When angry Heav'n extinguisht her fair LightJ
It seem'd to say Nought's Precious in my sightJ
As I in Waves this Paragon have drown'dK
The Nation next and King I will confoundK
