London In July Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EAEA FGFG

What ails my senses thus to cheatA
What is it ails the placeB
That all the people in the streetA
Should wear one woman's faceB
-
The London trees are dusty brownC
Beneath the summer skyD
My love she dwells in London townC
Nor leaves it in JulyD
-
O various and intricate mazeE
Wide waste of square and streetA
Where missing through unnumbered daysE
We twain at last may meetA
-
And who cries out on crowd and martF
Who prates of stream and seaG
The summer in the city's heartF
That is enough for meG
