Recaptured Conscience Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCD EFGHH IJKKK LFMNNOP

With my little hands I'd wipe off my tearsA
A minute after a fight with my peersB
We'd then laugh at the birds as nothing happenedC
With our limited conscious couldn't be saddenedC
Years later I'd revisit this day when distressedD
-
Taken from me I'd demand for my toyE
On top of my tiny lungs I'd passionately cryF
And she'd still keep it out of my short arms reachG
Minutes later she'd smile and I smile backH
As I take a bite from my snackH
-
I'd cry and get terribly sick to dodge schoolI
But I'd get back and show my mom how great I drew an ovalJ
Later I'd learn she knew what's good for meK
But my eyes were too little to seeK
I'd always revisit that day with my first degreeK
-
I'd take a penny and buy a fudgeL
When asked I'd innocently denyF
Forgetfully putting the candy in the fridgeM
I'd then tell everyone on getting it I had to payN
Years later I'd remember this dayN
When I couldn't cheat even if I wantedO
I'd revisit this day everyday when I'm marriedP
