This wasn't just a good thing | F |
This was more than a blessing | F |
It was eventually everything | F |
when it all started | G |

Now gone are the gracious seasons | D |
Nights are longer than days | H |
As the circle grew bigger and bigger | C |
it became indubitably harder | C |
to trace back to the center | C |
They'd pray together as penguins | D |
They were bound by time | I |
They were two birds with one feather | C |
Now they're two birds nesting in fear | J |

It was more than words now the words are | K |
washed away by tears of solitude | L |
and destiny is a fading light | M |
But this wasn't the end | N |
This shouldn't be the end | N |
To revive the lost soul | O |
He'd reset his priorities | P |
And she'd reset hers | Q |
