One Again Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEEFFFG DHCCCDICJ KLMNNOPQR

When it started every star glittered uniquely inA
sparkles of joyB
Mornings were covered by pillows of pleasureC
Nights of dissension controlled by conversationsD
of compassion and maturityE
This was going to infinityE
This wasn't just a good thingF
This was more than a blessingF
It was eventually everythingF
when it all startedG
-
Now gone are the gracious seasonsD
Nights are longer than daysH
As the circle grew bigger and biggerC
it became indubitably harderC
to trace back to the centerC
They'd pray together as penguinsD
They were bound by timeI
They were two birds with one featherC
Now they're two birds nesting in fearJ
-
It was more than words now the words areK
washed away by tears of solitudeL
and destiny is a fading lightM
But this wasn't the endN
This shouldn't be the endN
To revive the lost soulO
He'd reset his prioritiesP
And she'd reset hersQ
To become one againR
