Far Away Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCC DEFG HIJK

If the science worked out I'd go backA
when I'd smile at the stars and enjoy the moonB
I'd revive the remnants of meC
that are buried deep down in the seaC
-
I'd take a step back and say thank youD
if the clock would listen to my wordsE
And if the wind was at least considerateF
I wouldn't say I'm sorry this lateG
-
It never comes back they sayH
the past is who we were before nowI
Either awakens our dreams or crushes usJ
but the sun will still smile in any caseK
