Eyes Can Lie Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CACA ADED

A cloudy sky but raining dryA
Without the sun Earth can still shineB
In any case the eyes can lieA
It's the shoes put yourself in mineB
-
In dusks and dawns birds sound sameC
In weddings and funerals one would cryA
You'd only see what I proclaimC
In any case the sight can lieA
-
A duck can swim oh you've never seen it flyA
With the feeble wings you'd only see as vestigialD
You only regester with making me a preyE
Now for a moment let's talk about self denialD
