Eyes Can Lie

A cloudy sky but raining dry,
Without the sun, Earth can still shine,
In any case the eyes can lie,
It's the shoes, put yourself in mine.

In dusks and dawns, birds sound same,
In weddings and funerals one would cry,
You'd only see what I proclaim,
In any case the sight can lie.

A duck can swim, oh you've never seen it fly,
With the feeble wings you'd only see as vestigial,
You only regester with making me a prey,
Now for a moment let's talk about self-denial.
