Cold Feet Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCADEF GHIHJKJLM

Then words wouldn't be a boring song anymoreA
nor will the promises madeB
Ears wouldn't hear a wordC
let alone listening like they did beforeA
And every sound is mute and every thought shrunkD
Conscience and conscious have a commonalityE
like when they'd just be homophonesF
-
Every dream is unrealistic and every hopeG
is destroyed and depleted to nothingH
Hands are immobile and unable to hold for youI
they'd not done so to others when up for wavingH
It's a time frozen on one momentJ
from a thousand moments of mastering timeK
This momentJ
Reflect it while still the light lightsL
in your precious eyesM
