Then words wouldn't be a boring song anymore,
nor will the promises made.
Ears wouldn't hear a word,
let alone listening like they did before.
And every sound is mute and every thought shrunk.
Conscience and conscious have a commonality,
like when they'd just be homophones.
Every dream is unrealistic and every hope,
is destroyed and depleted to nothing.
Hands are immobile and unable to hold for you,
they'd not done so to others when up for waving.
It's a time frozen on one moment,
from a thousand moments of mastering time.
This moment--
Reflect it while still the light lights,
in your precious eyes.
