Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDEFGGHHIJ| Through this forlorn street we tread | A |
| The past forgotten for good and dead | A |
| Your endearing voice that beckons | B |
| I have but a few meaningful seconds | C |
| My heart's heart i will uncover | D |
| And if nay then will i suffer | D |
| Through my punctured heart your words will sieve | E |
| To the depths of my heart on my sleeve | F |
| And just as the sea and sky share a common blue | G |
| But then their convergence never ensue | G |
| I will take shelter in the moments that were jolly | H |
| Because to fantasize now is folly | H |
| May it even be that your heart is shared | I |
| No worries my searching soothing soul is heard | J |
