Eyes Of Darkness Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFBDGHIJFKDLMNFD BO

Sitting at the shore on a sojourning shipA
A very heavy machineryB
Forged from the sweat of men of witC
An evil and benign contraptionD
Pieces of metal wound together to rule the massesE
To give power of death to its bearerF
A memento moriB
With the emptying of each shell lies another at the end who bears a burdenD
To live or dieG
A decision better made in frames of momentsH
Which could be the lastI
With each pull of the trigger the world is changedJ
A soul is closer to meeting its makerF
But who is really evilK
The inventor or the inventionD
The metal or the blacksmithL
The sword or the warlordM
Surely this contraption only takes when it is led toN
For it is only metal wound together without its masterF
Stare into the barrel of the gunD
And stare into the eyes of the power hungryB
You will find looking back at you eyes full of darknessO
