Report From Paradise Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEC FGCHIJKLM NOPQR STRR

In paradise the work week is fixed at thirty hoursA
salaries are higher prices steadily go downB
manual labour is not tiring because of reduced gravityC
chopping wood is no harder than typingD
the social system is stable and the rulers are wiseE
really in paradise one is better off than in whatever countryC
-
-
At first it was to have been differentF
luminous circles choirs and degrees of abstractionG
but they were not able to separate exactlyC
the soul from the flesh and so it would come hereH
with a drop of fat a thread of muscleI
it was necessary to face the consequencesJ
to mix a grain of the absolute with a grain of clayK
one more departure from doctrine the last departureL
only John foresaw it you will be resurrected in the fleshM
-
-
not many behold GodN
he is only for those of per cent pneumaO
the rest listen to communiqu s about miracles and floodsP
some day God will be seen by allQ
when it will happen nobody knowsR
-
-
As it is now every Saturday at noonS
sirens sweetly bellowT
and from the factories go the heavenly proletariansR
awkwardly under their arms they carry their wings like violinsR
