Lament Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BAB BCB

lt i gt To the memory of my mother lt i gtA
-
And now she has over her head brown clouds of rootsB
a slim lily of salt on the temples beads of sandA
while she sails on the bottom of a boat through foaming nebulasB
-
a mile beyond us where the river turnsB
visible invisible as the light on a waveC
truly she isn't different abandoned like all of usB
