Architecture Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AB CD EF GH IJ KL MNB LAO DP QR ST

Over a delicate archA
an eyebrow of stoneB
-
on the unruffled foreheadC
of a wallD
-
in joyful and open windowsE
where there are faces instead of geraniumsF
-
where rigorous rectanglesG
border a dreaming perspectiveH
-
where a stream awakened by an ornamentI
flows on a quiet field of surfacesJ
-
movement meets stillness a line meets a shoutK
trembling uncertainty simple clarityL
-
you are thereM
architectureN
art of fantasy and stoneB
-
there you reside beautyL
over an archA
light as a sighO
-
on a wallD
pale from altitudeP
-
and a windowQ
tearful with a pane of glassR
-
a fugitive from apparent formsS
I proclaim your motionless danceT
