| Above my cupped hands | H |
| I secluded the idea of every end that stands | H |
| Of the fear that on our doorstep rants | H |

| Of all this i saw and of all this I'd see | H |
| Still i entangled my arms around a dream | A |

Poet's note: I wrote this poem thinking about night and the insomnia it brings for me. I wrote this a year back on a dark winter night, talking about the sensational stories behind the things we love. And how we continue to choose them even after being devastated by their touch.
