Ein Yahav Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGH H

A night drive to Ein Yahav in the Arava DesertA
a drive in the rain Yes in the rainB
There I met people who grow date palmsC
there I saw tamarisk trees and risk treesD
there I saw hope barbed as barbed wireE
And I said to myself That's true hope needs to beF
like barbed wire to keep out despairG
hope must be a mine fieldH
