The hungry lady framed on a wall
In the finest golden square
On a blank white wall, she hangs
Her pain etched into the brush-strokes
Her obvious beauty strained
Her smile as artificial as the color capturing her essence
Free her
From her binds
From the golden shackles of misery
Save her from hunger
Set her free.
