Anthem For Good Fryday Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDDEE FGHH

See sinfull soul thy Saviours suffering seeA
His Blessed hands and feet fix't fast to treeA
Observe what Rivulets of blood stream forthB
His painful pierced side each drop more worthC
Than tongue of men and Angels can expressD
Hast to him cursed Caitiffe and confessD
All thy misdeeds and sighing say 'Twas IE
That caus'd thee thus my Lord my Christ to dyeE

-
O let thy Death secure my soul from fearsF
And I will wash thy wounds with brinish tearsG
Grant me sweet Jesu from thy pretious storeH
One cleansing drop with grace to sin no moreH
