Rhyme Scheme: AABCCBBBDEBBFG

It is a willow when summer is overA
a willow by the riverA
from which no leaf has fallen norB
bitten by the sunC
turned orange or crimsonC
The leaves cling and grow palerB
swing and grow palerB
over the swirling waters of the riverB
as if loath to let goD
they are so cool so drunk withE
the swirl of the wind and of the riverB
oblivious to winterB
the last to let go and fallF
into the water and on the groundG
