The Smile Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHDH IJDJ

There is a Smile of LoveA
And there is a Smile of DeceitB
And there is a Smile of SmilesC
In which these two Smiles meetB
-
And there is a Frown of HateD
And there is a Frown of disdainE
And there is a Frown of FrownsF
Which you strive to forget in vainE
-
For it sticks in the Hearts deep CoreG
And it sticks in the deep Back boneH
And no Smile that ever was smildD
But only one Smile aloneH
-
That betwixt the Cradle GraveI
It only once Smild can beJ
But when it once is SmildD
Theres an end to all MiseryJ
