Winter Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBB CDCDD

The browns the olives and the yellows diedA
And were swept up to heaven where they glowedB
Each dawn and set of sun till ChristmastideB
And when the land lay pale for them pale snowedB
Fell back and down the snow drifts flamed and flowedB
-
From off your face into the winds of winterC
The sun brown and the summer gold are blowingD
But they shall gleam with spiritual glinterC
When paler beauty on your brows falls snowingD
And through those snows my looks shall be soft goingD
