The Doctor Will Return Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABACB DEDCE FGFCG HIHCJ

The surgical mask the rubber teatA
Are singed give off an evil smellB
You seem to weep more now that heatA
Spreads everywhere we lookC
It says here none of us is wellB
-
The warty spottings on the figurinesD
Are nothing you would care to claimE
You seem to weep more since the magazinesD
Began revivals on the Dundas bookC
It says here you were most to blameE
-
But though I cannot believe that this is soF
I mark the doctor as a decent sortG
I mix your medicine and goF
Downstairs to leave instructions for the cookC
It says here time is getting shortG
-
That I can believe I hear you crying in your roomH
While watching traffic reconciledI
Out in the park black flowers are in bloomH
I picked some once and pressed them in a bookC
You used to look at them and smileJ
