The Snow Man Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEA FGH IGJ CJJ

One must have a mind of winterA
To regard the frost and the boughsB
Of the pine trees crusted with snowC
-
And have been cold a long timeD
To behold the junipers shagged with iceE
The spruces rough in the distant glitterA
-
Of the January sun and not to thinkF
Of any misery in the sound of the windG
In the sound of a few leavesH
-
Which is the sound of the landI
Full of the same windG
That is blowing in the same bare placeJ
-
For the listener who listens in the snowC
And nothing himself beholdsJ
Nothing that is not there and the nothing that isJ
