-
In that November off TehuantepecB
The slopping of the sea grew still one nightC
And in the morning summer hued the deckB
-
And made one think of rosy chocolateD
And gilt umbrellas Paradisal greenE
Gave suavity to the perplexed machineE
-
Of ocean which like limpid water layF
Who then in that ambrosial latitudeG
Out of the light evolved the morning bloomsH
-
Who then evolved the sea blooms from the cloudsI
Diffusing balm in that Pacific calmJ
C' eacute tait mon enfant mon bijou mon acirc meK
-
The sea clouds whitened far below the calmJ
And moved as blooms move in the swimming greenE
And in its watery radiance while the hueL
-
Of heaven in an antique reflection rolledM
Round those flotillas And sometimes the seaK
Poured brilliant iris on the glistening blueL

-
In that November off TehuantepecB
The slopping of the sea grew still one nightC
At breakfast jelly yellow streaked the deckB
-
And made one think of chop house chocolateD
And sham umbrellas And a sham like greenE
Capped summer seeming on the tense machineE
-
Of ocean which in sinister flatness layF
Who then beheld the rising of the cloudsI
That strode submerged in that malevolent sheenE
-
Who saw the mortal massives of the bloomsH
Of water moving on the water floorN
C' eacute tait mon fr egrave re du ciel ma vie mon orN
-
The gongs rang loudly as the windy boomsH
Hoo hooed it in the darkened ocean bloomsH
The gongs grew still And then blue heaven spreadO
-
Its crystalline pendentives on the seaK
And the macabre of the water gloomsK
In an enormous undulation fledO

-
In that November off TehuantepecB
The slopping of the sea grew still one nightC
And a pale silver patterned on the deckB
-
And made one think of porcelain chocolateD
And pied umbrellas An uncertain greenE
Piano polished held the tranced machineE
-
Of ocean as a prelude holds and holdsK
Who seeing silver petals of white bloomsK
Unfolding in the water feeling sureP
-
Of the milk within the saltiest spurge heard thenQ
The sea unfolding in the sunken cloudsK
Oh C' eacute tait mon extase et mon amourP
-
So deeply sunken were they that the shroudsK
The shrouding shadows made the petals blackB
Until the rolling heaven made them blueL
-
A blue beyond the rainy hyacinthR
And smiting the crevasses of the leavesK
Deluged the ocean with a sapphire blueL

-
In that November off TehuantepecB
The night long slopping of the sea grew stillT
A mallow morning dozed upon the deckB
-
And made one think of musky chocolateD
And frail umbrellas A too fluent greenE
Suggested malice in the dry machineE
-
Of ocean pondering dank stratagemU
Who then beheld the figures of the cloudsK
Like blooms secluded in the thick marineE
-
Like blooms Like damasks that were shaken offS
From the loosed girdles in the spangling mustV
C' eacute tait ma foi la nonchalance divineW
-
The nakedness would rise and suddenly turnX
Salt masks of beard and mouths of bellowingB
Would But more suddenly the heaven rolledM
-
Its bluest sea clouds in the thinking greenE
And the nakedness became the broadest bloomsK
Mile mallows that a mallow sun cajoledM

-
In that November off TehuantepecB
Night stilled the slopping of the seaS
The day came bowing and voluble upon the deckB
-
Good clown One thought of Chinese chocolateD
And large umbrellas And a motley greenE
Followed the drift of the obese machineE
-
Of ocean perfected in indolenceS
What pistache one ingenious and drollY
Beheld the sovereign clouds as juggleryP
-
And the sea as turquoise turbaned Sambo neatZ
At tossing saucers cloudy conjuring seaS
C' eacute tait mon esprit b acirc tard l'ignominieE
-
The sovereign clouds came clustering The conchA2
Of loyal conjuration trumped The windB2
Of green blooms turning crisped the motley hueL
-
To clearing opalescence Then the seaS
And heaven rolled as one and from the twoL
Came fresh transfigurings of freshest blueL

Mike B: If you’re wondering WTF he’s having a kensho experience and describing how it feels in all its dynamism and profundity that’s impossible to comprehend.
