A Rabbit As King Of The Ghosts Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABC ADE FGH IJK LMN JJO IIP QRS

The difficulty to think at the end of dayA
When the shapeless shadow covers the sunB
And nothing is left except light on your furC
-
-
There was the cat slopping its milk all dayA
Fat cat red tongue green mind white milkD
And August the most peaceful monthE
-
To be in the grass in the peacefullest timeF
Without that monument of catG
The cat forgotten in the moonH
-
And to feel that the light is a rabbit lightI
In which everything is meant for youJ
And nothing need be explainedK
-
Then there is nothing to think of It comes of itselfL
And east rushes west and west rushes downM
No matter The grass is fullN
-
And full of yourself The trees around are for youJ
The whole of the wideness of night is for youJ
A self that touches all edgesO
-
You become a self that fills the four corners of nightI
The red cat hides away in the fur lightI
And there you are humped high humped upP
-
You are humped higher and higher black as stoneQ
You sit with your head like a carving in spaceR
And the little green cat is a bug in the grassS
