I hate you
You said I can lean on you
Yet here you are
Leaning on another
Was I too pitiable?
Now I hate you.
I hate it that love-you/">I love you
But just your sweet face
takes away my hate for you
I’m wrapped around your finger
While u toss me aside with your finger.
Secretly I watched you
With those lips I crave for
You profess love to another
Dear lord I’m shattered.
With my wobbling feet’s
I pack my broken hearts away
While rivers and oceans fist
can’t compete with the overflowing tears.
Yet still
My heart is at war with me
Playing drums at the sight of you
Waiting for the day you can finally see me
Sadly reality mocks at me
Saying we can never be together
For you already said I do to another.

Poet's note: It’s about a person in love who can’t hate the lover despite being hurt multiple times..I wrote it this night while thinking about a friend.
