Hunger For More Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GGCC

Greed is a fire that never sleepsA
It hoards the gold yet nothing keepsA
Hands that clutch will never fillB
A hollow heart an endless willB
-
It builds its throne on others painC
A kingdom forged from loss and gainC
The more it takes the less it seesD
Blind to the cost of its diseaseD
-
Greed drinks the river drains the seaE
And still it whispers More for meE
But wealth that rots in selfish handsF
Turns castles into sinking sandsF
-
For when the grasping shadows fallG
Greed leaves behind no love at allG
A barren crown a fleeting reignC
A legacy of empty chainC
