The world spins fast, I stand so still,
A fragile heart, a broken will.
The tasks pile high, beyond my reach,
Each wave a lesson I cannot teach.

My hands feel empty, my voice too small,
I stumble, I falter, I drop it all.
The strength I seek is nowhere near,
Just echoes loud of doubt and fear.

I watch the sky, but clouds don’t part,
A heavy chain wraps round my heart.
I whisper prayers, they fade away,
No guiding light, no break of day.

Yet in this hush, though weak I seem,
A spark still hides beneath the stream.
Helpless now, but not erased,
A seed of hope waits to be embraced.
