Greed is a fire that never sleeps,
It hoards the gold, yet nothing keeps.
Hands that clutch will never fill,
A hollow heart, an endless will.

It builds its throne on others’ pain,
A kingdom forged from loss and gain.
The more it takes, the less it sees,
Blind to the cost of its disease.

Greed drinks the river, drains the sea,
And still it whispers, “More for me.”
But wealth that rots in selfish hands,
Turns castles into sinking sands.

For when the grasping shadows fall,
Greed leaves behind no love at all.
A barren crown, a fleeting reign,
A legacy of empty chain.
