God has a plan for everyone,
Though paths are heavy, though hope seems gone.
I searched in kin, in blood, in ties,
But found only judgment, hurt, and lies.

I was denied, abandoned, cast,
Neglect and pain from relatives past.
Unloved, unwanted, left to grieve,
Their cruelty taught my heart to bleed.

Yet in the shadows, light appeared,
From strangers’ hearts both kind and clear.
No blood was shared, no name the same,
Yet love was real, a steady flame.

Family is not just veins or birth,
But those who show your soul its worth.
In kindness deep, in bonds we weave,
In strangers’ love, I now believe.

So let them judge, let kin deny,
God’s greater plan will still supply.
For though my blood has turned away,
I found true family in hearts that stay.
