Different Rains Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GCEC

We don t all walk beneath one skyA
Some stay dry while others cryA
Some have roofs some umbrellas wideB
Some just stand with hearts as guideB
-
So slow your judgment let kindness reignC
For none can gauge another s painC
The storm you see may seem so smallD
Yet to them it s a thunder s callD
-
You ll never know how cold it feelsE
Till you ve stood where sorrow kneelsE
Each drop that falls a silent pleaF
Be gentle friend with what you seeF
-
Slow your judgment let compassion flowG
For every drop tells its own refrainC
You ll never know how heavy it feelsE
Until you ve stood beneath their rainC
