Why I Voted The Socialist Ticket Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABA CBDB EFFF

I am unjust but I can strive for justiceA
My life's unkind but I can vote for kindnessA
I the unloving say life should be lovelyB
I that am blind cry out against my blindnessA
-
Man is a curious brute he pets his fanciesC
Fighting mankind to win sweet luxuryB
So he will be tho' law be clear as crystalD
Tho' all men plan to live in harmonyB
-
Come let us vote against our human natureE
Crying to God in all the polling placesF
To heal our everlasting sinfulnessF
And make us sages with transfigured facesF
