What The Miner In The Desert Said Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBDEFEGHIH

The moon's a brass hooped water kegA
A wondrous water feastB
If I could climb the ridge and drinkC
And give drink to my beastB
If I could drain that keg the fliesD
Would not be biting soE
My burning feet be spry againF
My mule no longer slowE
And I could rise and dig for oreG
And reach my fatherlandH
And not be food for ants and hawksI
And perish in the sandH
