Michaelangelo Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCDED

Would I might wake in you the whirl wind soulA
Of Michelangelo who hewed the stoneB
And Night and Day revealed whose arm aloneB
Could draw the face of God the titan highC
Whose genius smote like lightning from the skyC
And shall he mold like dead leaves in the graveD
Nay he is in us Let us dare and dareE
God help us to be braveD
