Heart Of God Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB ADED AFGF AHIH

O great heart of GodA
Once vague and lost to meB
Why do I throb with your throb to nightC
In this land eternityB
-
O little heart of GodA
Sweet intruding strangerD
You are laughing in my human breastE
A Christ child in a mangerD
-
Heart dear heart of GodA
Beside you now I kneelF
Strong heart of faith O heart not mineG
Where God has set His sealF
-
Wild thundering heart of GodA
Out of my doubt I comeH
And my foolish feet with prophets' feetI
March with the prophets' drumH
