Epilogue. Under The Blessing Of Your Psyche Wings Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE GHIH JKDK

Though I have found you like a snow drop paleA
On sunny days have found you weak and stillB
Though I have often held your girlish headC
Drooped on my shoulder faint from little illB
-
Under the blessing of your Psyche wingsD
I hide to night like one small broken birdE
So soothed I half forget the world gone madF
And all the winds of war are now unheardE
-
My heaven doubting pennons feel your handsG
With touch most delicate so circling roundH
That for an hour I dream that God is goodI
And in your shadow Mercy's ways aboundH
-
I thought myself the guard of your frail stateJ
And yet I come to night a helpless guestK
Hiding beneath your giant Psyche wingsD
Against the pallor of your wondrous breastK
