Crickets On A Strike Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDED

The foolish queen of fairylandA
From her milk white throne in a lily bellB
Gave command to her cricket bandA
To play for her when the dew drops fellB
-
But the cold dew spoiled their instrumentsC
And they play for the foolish queen no moreD
Instead those sturdy malcontentsE
Play sharps and flats in my kitchen floorD
