The Missing Of Africa Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DDEF GHGG IJ KK LM

Yesterday I was in AfricaA
At day break I got lostB
I now see myself in Europe and AmericaA
My identity is lost at firstC
-
A complete missing locationD
That has left me wondering in frustrationD
I love sleeping and breathing in hutsE
As the modern ones get me hurt as they hotF
-
The skins of animals I want to wearG
And the urgent sounds of drums I want to hearH
I dream of those lovable Africans that used to shareG
Where are those caressing moms that love and careG
-
And the pastoral lives we liveI
The unforgettable religion we believeJ
-
Where are those hefty healthy and brave Africa menK
With their fresh and demanding and sweet African henK
-
We only hear their faded talesL
That whet our desires for our African shadesM
