But only to end up in the office of the ICPC | C |
Or caught in the net of the eagle eyed EFFC | C |
Because of the palms they do grease | D |

Where little children roam the street as Almajiris | D |
Food education and shelter none they have | E |
What does the future holds for the Almajiris | D |
With a plate of jollof rice today next is at Boko Haram cave | F |

And not because to put that country in order | G |

On reaching home you asked the essence of your presence | D |
Wondering how the measure was manipulated | H |
Not knowing their measures have been cut or boiled | I |

Inflating prices after a long term hoarding | C |
In the suffering of others they are happy | A |
But when it expired or destroyed they are lamenting | C |

Brave in their mind to go and confront insecurity | A |
But lack weapons and morale to die as patriots | D |
And fearful about their children's educational security | A |

Patients and students are at the receiving end mostly | A |

They cajole female students that life is give and take | C |
Not thinking about the struggles behind educating that life at stake | C |

Citizens attend daily and hourly service at her mosques and churches | D |
But their acts aren't in tandem with any religion | K |
Kidnapping murder and terrorism in different region | K |

Where clerics no longer preach about good virtues | D |
They have become Marabouts for corrupt officials lacking virtues | D |
And a safe haven for armed robbers cultist and kidnappers | D |
They are accomplices of ritual killers and kidnappers | D |

Where husbands are busy drinking and their wives busy partying | C |
Leaving their children under the care of housemaids | D |
Husbands treating their wives like chattels or maids | D |
Because of the exorbitant bride price or they met while partying | C |

And families failed to chide their wards | D |
The untrained children are now threat to all electoral wards | D |
The old and young are now leaving in fear of those untrained children | K |

To get your cloth ready on time you must lie to your tailor | G |
Going to a mechanic's workshop there is fear of fueling your vehicle | M |
Attempts to outsmart them is like running round in a circle | M |

Where greedy men hooked up sugar mummies claiming destitution | K |
And female money grubbers have resorted to prostitution | K |
After several abortions they accused their village people of infertility | A |
While some end up dramatising on the street in nudity | A |

Where small small children are heavily smoking | C |
Gambling drinking and harassment are now the day's order | G |
And when penniless they resort to stealing | C |
Are these the future leaders to put the country in order | G |

Where government officials are lords | D |
They bottleneck the already bottlenecked bureaucracy | A |
If you don't drop something you can't get a nod | N |
But they'll be the first to criticise the government of democracy | A |

Where every citizens is playing the blame game | O |
Without thinking about how to change the game | O |
We must redefine our identity before it escalates to another level | M |
Let us grow the country so as to move on to the next level | M |
