Morning At The Window Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAA CBADA

They are rattling breakfast plates in basement kitchensA
And along the trampled edges of the streetB
I am aware of the damp souls of housemaidsA
Sprouting despondently at area gatesA
-
The brown waves of fog toss up to meC
Twisted faces from the bottom of the streetB
And tear from a passer by with muddy skirtsA
An aimless smile that hovers in the airD
And vanishes along the level of the roofsA
